Have you ever wanted to have your story brought to life in an opera?
Langley Community Music School is producing a new opera, and we need stories! We are looking for young BC writers between the ages of 12 and 24. The winner(s) will have their story set to music by young composers and presented in performance in May 2015.
Shortlisted applicants will have the opportunity to work with a renowned professional librettist/director in a workshop setting. Selected writers will work closely with the librettist to develop their story into an opera libretto. Please note: applicants must be prepared to attend the March 15, 2014, workshop at Langley Community Music School.
