Both of our children began their musical journey at LCMS in the Early Learning program and have since gone on to study piano. My husband and I always looked forward to the baby music classes as we watched our children develop confidence, language skills, creativity, rhythm, social skills and listening skills all while being surrounded by caring adults and other children in a safe, nurturing environment. The songs, poems and music they listened to and created became part of their lives and provided a base on which to build as they began their piano lessons. We have heard and read about all the studies and research conducted that tells us that working and learning with music is important for the developing brain and we believe it wholeheartedly as we see the proof every day with our children!
