These two local ensembles join forces to present one of the great masterpieces of the 19th century choral literature: the powerful and moving Brahms Requiem. Normally heard with orchestra, it will be presented in a two piano reduction of the orchestral score. The expanded duet version – Brahms’ own – reinforces the symphonic quality of the music. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear this magnificent work performed in Langley!
