Aurora Piano Trio

Concerts Café Classico Series Opening Concert
Two members of the Borealis String Quartet (violinist Yuel Yawney and cellist Sungyong Lim) have recently joined forces with pianist Libby Yu to form the dynamic Aurora Piano Trio. They will perform the famous Trio in D Minor, Op. 49 by Mendelssohn and movements from the Beethoven Trio in E-flat Major, Op. 1, No. 1.

The concert will open with an informal conversation between LCMS’ Artistic Director Elizabeth Bergmann and the artists. It will be performed to a small, distanced audience in the Rose Gellert Hall and will last approximately 60 min, with no intermission.

Limited Seating
Tickets will not be available at the door. Please note that all attendees will receive further instructions regarding seating, arrival procedures and other COVID-19 safety protocols ahead of the concert.
