Calling Young Composers!
Young composers are invited to participate in the 2018 Young Composers Competition. Composers will have the opportunity to work with the Rose Gellert String Quartet during a workshop on March 21, where their pieces will be performed and critiqued by the ensemble and jury. The Leonard Woods Memorial Award will be awarded to winning works in each category (cash awards): Junior $200, Senior $300, College/University $500. The winning works will also be premiered by the Quartet in concert on March 24, 2018.
Submission deadline March 1.
