Kristl Armstrong studied at the Royal College of Music, London. She has also completed teacher training in the Suzuki Method with, among others, Tanya Carey, Rick Mooney, and Carey Beth Hockett.

As a performer, Kristl has played with many groups in and around Vancouver such as the Vancouver Opera Orchestra, the Vancouver Island Symphony, and the Vancouver New Music Society.  Kristl is also on faculty at the Vancouver Academy of Music.
