LCMS is proud to be hosting a book launch for Jan in 35 Pieces, a musical memoir by Ian Hampton, just released by publisher Porcupine’s Quill. Many in our community will know Ian as LCMS Artistic Director Emeritus and as a long serving faculty member, having joined LCMS in 1979. His remarkable career, including stints with the London Symphony, Academy of St. Martins in the Field, Vancouver Symphony, and as a member of the Edinburgh and Purcell String Quartets, has quite literally spanned the globe.
The evening will feature selected readings by Ian, music by the Rose Gellert String Quartet and more. Everyone is invited, and don’t miss your chance to get a signed copy!
