This concert will include repertoire from Amanda’s new CD “Words” – an eclectic collection of original compositions that blend elements of poetry, jazz, art song, and folk/pop. The words that will be featured include those of award-winning Canadian poets Tim Bowling, Carole Langille, and Laura Lush, and classic poets William Wordsworth, Edgar Allan Poe, Edgar Lee Masters, and Pablo Neruda – not to mention some contemporary artists like Joni Mitchell and Yo Yo Ma.
