Two noteworthy Vancouver musicians, violinist Domagoj Ivanovic and pianist Noel McRobbie, join together to explore a quick, playful and whirlwind journey of the European traditional folk music with Jean-Marie Leclair’s Sonata, Ernest Bloch’s Nigun and Béla Bartòk’s Romanian Dances. The epic “Kreutzer” Sonata by Beethoven will round off the programme.
