Postponed ~ West Coast Chamber Music - Concerts Café Classico Series

Due to the most recent announcement regarding the Covid-19 pandemic and current Province-wide restrictions, the West Coast Chamber Music concert on Sunday, January 24th has been postponed until further notice.

Long-standing concert society, West Coast Chamber Music, is pleased to present Dmitri Shostakovich’s Piano Trio No. 2 in E minor, a work of great power and intensity. This piece is coupled with Canadian composer Heather Schmidt’s evocative Lunar Reflections for piano trio depicting various full moons: Blue Moon, Pink Moon, Wolf Moon, Snow Moon and Thunder Moon.

Pianists and LCMS faculty members Alan Crane and Holly Duff will be joined by cellist Rebecca Wenham and violinist Angela Cavados for this performance.

This concert will be performed to a small audience in the Rose Gellert Hall, with every measure taken to ensure a safe, socially distanced environment. The concert will be approximately 60 min, with no intermission.

Please note that all attendees will receive further instructions regarding seating, arrival procedures and other COVID-19 safety protocols ahead of the concert.
