Composers' Notes with Special Guest, Brad Turner

With host, Marcel Bergmann

Three-time Juno Award winner and LCMS alumnus, Brad Turner, is one of Canada’s most in-demand and highly esteemed jazz musicians.

The gifted trumpeter, pianist, drummer and composer will be joining Composers’ Notes host and LCMS Composer-in-Residence, Marcel Bergmann, to discuss his approach to writing and arranging music from his extensive experience as both a composer and performer. He will provide a closer look at how composing in this particular area differs from a traditional classical model, and will illustrate his approach and process with various examples from his own works.

This session is the second of a four-part online series featuring composers working in different genres.

This FREE event will take place on Zoom.
