In celebration of its 50th Anniversary, LCMS is pleased to present Beethoven’s epic masterpiece Symphony No. 9 – Ode to Joy!
Join Conductor Joel Stobbe as he leads over 160 musicians in what may very well be one of the most exciting Beethoven concerts you’ll ever experience. Featuring the Vancouver Bach Choir, a full symphony comprised of the LCMS and Surrey Youth Senior Orchestras and stellar vocal soloists Rebecca Paulding, Leah Field, Scott Rumble, and Stephen Duncan.
This extraordinary event will also include the world premiere of a new orchestral piece by LCMS composer-in-residence, Marcel Bergmann, and performances by alumni Albert Seo on cello and Derek Stanyer on piano, the LCMS Cello Ensemble, and the award-winning Trio Liscio!
Concert: 7 pm
Tickets: General Admission $15
The gala will take place in the 875-seat, acoustically-designed auditorium at Church in the Valley.
