Angelina Hyungyung Lee started piano at the age of five and has achieved many accomplishments. As a pianist, she has won local, national, international competitions and received numerous grants and scholarships towards competitions, university entrances, summer music camp programs, as well as festivals.
She studied with world-renowned musicians such as Corey Hamm, Evelyne Brancart, Jimmy Briére, and Marc Durand. She holds Bachelor’s Degree from University of British Columbia, Master’s degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, and Diplome d’Études Professionnelles Approfondies (D.É.P.A.) (artistic diploma) in Université de Montréal; All majored in piano performance.As a Collaborator, she has performed with variety of instrumentalists as well as having the pleasure of being a Teacher Assistance in Collaborations at Indiana University.
Angelina has been teaching over fifteen years now, and the students show the Angelina’s hard work. Some have progressed in RCM examinations with flying colours, others have received high distinction awards, won many competitions, and successfully entered university auditions. She is not only an excellent teacher, but also has a caring and thoughtful personality that can relate to the dynamic students to their needs in variety of ways.
